Perspective

I have failed and I have succeeded.

I have been self-seeking and I have been unselfish.

I have been greedy and I have been generous.

I have looked down on others and I have looked up to others.

I have been impatient and I have been patient.

I have been stingy and I have shared.

I have hated and I have loved.

I have been rude and mean and I have been kind.

I have discouraged and I have encouraged.  

It's so weird to think that I once was so pure, that these things were so foreign to me. I didn't even know what they were or that I would grow up to do these things.
